I went for a wander while on location shooting a project. I (carefully) put my medium format kit in the rain up on Mt Wellington. We live in an amazing country don’t we?
Shot at 60 megapixels for a 200MB final file
Spent a nice morning on the beach for Tourism Australia via P’s in a Pod. This shoot was on a few month weather hold to get a classic Gold Coast cloudless sky, and true to Murphy’s Law, it rained and rained. Finally one winter morning, the talent braved 3 degrees and a 4am call-time and it all came together.
We had a fun stint on The Apple Isle shooting a series of youth lifestyle images for The University of Tasmania. The brief was to produce a suite of images of kids being kids, and right up my alley. It was an amazing shoot, and a pleasure to bring the authentic, fresh approach to advertising imagery that art director Jerome and the team at Red Jelly had envisioned. Here are a couple from the project:
Recently worked alongside TV production group The Producers and director Tristian Houghton to produce images to support the Red Card campaign for Queensland Police. There’s more about the campaign on mUmBRELLA
Everyone look out for each other out there, and stay safe 🙂
Agency: Brother & Co, Creative Director: Piet Human
Art Director: Lieve Torbyens, Account Service: Alicia Diaz
Worked alongside the folks at Taxi Film Production recently to make still images to support the Queensland Government’s “All by Myself” anti-smoking TV commercial by GPY&R. Bringing to life the vision that David Maunder, Eugine Horat, Andrew Thompson and the GPY&R team had was really great, and it was nice to be part of this emotive campaign.
