Outdoorsy Types | Everyday Hikers in the Dolomites
While in the Dolomites in Northern Italy I asked fellow hikers if I could photograph their portraits. I learn so much from little projects like this, how to approach subjects, introduce what I’m doing, and then make myself as invisible as possible so the subject is free to give me an expression that is real.
I tried to limit myself to a single frame of each person, no selects or options. Just “click” and that’s it. It felt amazing.
There’s more from this project on my homepage.

Will Flack & Camille Egdorf for Costa Sunglasses
We got to spend some time with world class anglers Camille Egdorf and Will Flack on the saltwater flats in Belize.
We were blessed with dreamy blue skies and tropical balminess that was second to none – a few big days for Costa Sunglasses via McGarrah Jesse. These are a few of our favourite lifestyle images from the shoot.

Kimi Werner for Costa Sunglasses
We’re thrilled to see more of the portraits from the recent campaign we shot for Costa Sunglasses rolling out, this one featuring professional freediver and spearfisher Kimi Werner

Iron Jack
We worked with the team at Lion Nathan to create both still and moving imagery for the launch of the new beer Iron Jack. We told a story of Australian Outdoorsmen living in the Outback among the freedom and challenges of this hot, rugged country.
Shot in a remote location in the Northern Territory, we embraced the challenge of getting our 20 cast and crew onto our locations. Big thanks to our Darwin Unit who provided superb local knowledge, casting assistance and crocodile safety (no joke!)
Below is a Directors Cut of the footage we shot, as well as some images from the project:
Industrial scenes for TAFE Queensland ‘Why Wait to Make Great?’ 2017 Summer Enrolment Campaign
We recently produced, propped, styled and shot over 40 industrial scenes for TAFE Queensland’s new campaign.
The imagery takes the viewer forward in time once a student has graduated TAFE training, out into authentic scenes in various professional fields.
Here are some select images from the campaign, which rolled out across outdoor, digital and social.
Alps 2 Ocean – A Cycle Journey
I recently completed the Alps 2 Ocean trail as a guest of Tourism Waitaki, joining a group of tourism professionals I was treated to what was an amazing 5 day journey through the South Island of New Zealand, beginning in the Alps and ending on the East Coast. Here are a few of my favorite snaps from the trip:
Fun in the Sun for Tourism Queensland
We were delighted to be approached to create new library images for Tourism Events Queensland and Brisbane Marketing. Spanning over 2 months our shoot took us to some absolutely stunning South East Queensland locations from Moreton Island, Lamington National Park and the Scenic Rim, to downtown Brisbane.
Our production crew worked hard coordinating the 49 talent, 36 location permits and 21 reschedules due to weather delays. With a 100 shot brief this project demanded our commitment to a smooth production process, particularly when coordinating locations with stakeholders in the tourism industry. Here are 14 of our favourites:
Vignettes of Australian Life for AMP
AMP has launched the brand campaign we recently shot for them. Featuring scenes of Australian life, the campaign was shot over a week at a number of locations along the country’s beautiful east coast. Our imagery focused on capturing authentic, genuine lifestyle moments.
A favorite part of the shoot for me was donning a shark repellent band and swimming out off Boulders Beach, Lennox Head in the pitch black to shoot our surfers at sunrise…..yikes!
We’ve already spied some billboards in some of the capital cities, and look forward to seeing more as the campaign rolls out.
